Base Station
I recently added a Yaesu FT-710 transceiver to my base station. I have it connected to an MFJ-1790 11ft vertical 10m antenna mounted on my roof. I have been making contacts on the SSB voice portion of the 10m band and have been greatly enjoying it!
On the 2m/70cm bands, I am currently running an FTM-200DR connected to a Diamond X50A antenna mounted on my roof. I sometimes use APRS on 144.390 from this station using callsign KF0MCY. Send me a message!
Mobile Operations
For operating on the go, I am currently running a Yaesu FTM-200DR mounted in my 2002 F250. I am connected to a Diamond NR770HB antenna. I sometimes use APRS on 144.390 from this station using callsign KF0MCY-9.
Handheld/Portable Operations
For handheld/portable operations, my only current option is my little Baofeng UV-5R, though I will likely be getting into portable HF gear for POTA use.
